The effect of viscosity and standards on viscosity of plastic parts
The characteristic of friction between biological macromolecules during the fluidity of melted plastics is called the viscosity of plastics, and the index of this type of viscosity is called viscosity. Therefore, viscosity is a reflection of the high and low fluidity of melted plastics. The greater the viscosity, the stronger the melt viscosity, the worse the fluidity, and the more difficult it is to produce and process.
The fluidity of a more common plastic is not based on its viscosity value, but on its melt fluidity index value (called MFI): To put it bluntly, it means that the melt is subjected to a certain melt temperature and the melt is subjected to a rated working pressure effect, within a unit time (usually ten minutes) according to the standard mold port's net melt weight per unit time (usually ten minutes). It shows that the viscosity of plastic is not static. The change in the characteristics of plastic, the influence of external temperature, working pressure and other standards can all promote the change of viscosity.
