3. Cooling system design: A good cooling system is the key to ensuring the quality and production efficiency of plastic products. The layout of the cooling waterway should be uniform to ensure that all parts of the mold are cooled evenly and avoid product deformation caused by uneven cooling.
2. Installation stage
1. Clean the mold: Before installing the mold, the mold must be thoroughly cleaned to remove oil stains, iron filings and other impurities on the surface to prevent these impurities from entering the injection molding machine and affecting the normal operation of the mold.
2. Correct installation: Operate strictly in accordance with the mold installation instructions to ensure that the mold is installed firmly and positioned accurately. During the installation process, be careful to avoid collision between the mold and the injection molding machine and damaging the mold or equipment.
3. Check the connection parts: After the installation is completed, carefully check whether the connection parts of the mold, such as whether the bolts and nuts are tightened, whether the cooling water pipes, hot runner pipelines, etc. are connected correctly and sealed to prevent water leakage, oil leakage and other problems.
2. Use stage
1. Reasonable injection molding process parameters: According to the requirements of mold and plastic products, set appropriate injection molding pressure, injection molding speed, pressure holding pressure, pressure holding time, melt temperature, mold temperature and other parameters. During the production process, we must pay close attention to the changes in these parameters, adjust them in a timely manner to ensure stable product quality.
2. Avoid mold overload: It is strictly forbidden to conduct injection molding production beyond the mold’s design load-bearing capacity, otherwise it will cause mold deformation and damage, affecting product quality and mold life.
3. Prevent foreign objects from entering the mold: During the injection molding process, foreign objects should be prevented from entering the mold cavity, such as impurities, metal particles in the raw materials, etc. Before the raw materials enter the injection molding machine, filtering can be performed, and the hopper and screw of the injection molding machine can be cleaned regularly.
